I used to have manageable hair like a year and a half ago, but now its thick, coarse and rough like horse hair. I wash it regularly and all, but I dont know why its like this :dunno: any help?

more than a drop? on your head? are you sure you read the instructions?

also maybe you want to try using shampoo that isn't from the dollar store, or perhaps try using some conditioner

do you use heat products like hair straigheners or blow dryers? have you been coloring your hair? perhaps it's damage from the sun?

your hair sounds damaged... there are products that can help your hair not seem so damaged though. my mom used to own a salon, so i've grown up on salon hair products... my favorite hair products for repairing hair damage is the Lanza line:

try to wash your hair every OTHER day for a few weeks and see how that helps. Also, towel-dry your hair and, if possible, use better products. My favorite shampoo and conditioner is Nancy Boy, www.nancyboy.com

you don't need the other 2 steps though, because the other 2 steps are specific to colored hair

this is what i use: "ultimate treatment" (5 steps)

it's a bit pricey, but you are only meant to use it once a month or so..so it lasts a really long time. it's my favorite hair product, and i've tried a lot of high-end salon hair products. if you can, i would just get the ones you need.. i think the 3 bottle set is enough for you:

Try only washing your hair every other day and only at the roots. Then, use an intense conditioning treatment and leave it on for 5 minutes. I put mine on first thing after shampooing and leave it on while i wash my face and body and shave my legs. After a few weeks, your hair should be not be as dry. For faster results I would use a hydrating hair mask for 15 minutes every other night for a week.

my hair tends to get really oily really quick too now :wtc: would lack of sleep contribute to this also? or not enough nutrients?
