My poor old NSX has been looking kind of raggedy lately. Little stone chips all over the front end, some cracked clear-coat on the rear bumper, numerous little scratches on the spoiler and roof panel, remnants of long-ago bug spats on the rear view mirrors, acid rain spots that you could see if the light was just right. It was time for paint. On July 20, I dropped my car off for fresh paint and on August 20 I brought it home. It looks terrific and I'm delighted to have it back! Here are some pics . I went to visit it and take pictures every Saturday. Here is the first Saturday. Second Saturday. Third Saturday. Forth Saturday. And the last day. This is my happy face, I'm getting my car back! That night I took it for a little cruise out the the beach. Got to see a great sunset and managed to beat the rain coming home. Sunset in the rear-view. Right where it ought to be. Then of course on Friday it rained like hell while I was at work. Lost its rain cherry in less than a day. That's okay, it cleaned right up when I got home. All of the Before/During/After pictures can be found here. http://sarasotadetail.com/gallery2/v/sarashows01/nsxrepaint/ Later!
