Now when i plug it in and connect it all up.
All i get is the screen bouncer that comes on when you plug in your monitor and dont connect it to your computer. Its like i plugged the monitor in and thats it.
The lights come on, on the box itself and the fan is working(i can hear it).
Ive had the box open before(to put my burner in)so im not all that intimidated by opening it.
Its a custom job built by a guy i knew and hs been flawless before going into storage for a little over a year.

Is it possible the little round battery is dead and that is causing my problems?

Any help at all would be awsome.

I'd open the case, blow out the dust (if any) and take out and re-seat the cards.

    Any beeps on startup?

It's kind of funny this happened (not really). If you get no beeps or anything then I'm going to guess it is your Motherboard, try taking out your ram and see if you get any beeps apon boot. My parents computer just up and shutoff, after that, it would turn on but screen wouldn't work, nothing worked. Then the next day I went in to work and we were gonna put Vista on a test machine that had been sitting awhile and the same damn thing happened.

1 single beep is usually a good thing.

If the battery was dead all that means is that the BIOS settings are being kept and that the system clock willnot be set correctly, but the system will/should boot up as normal.

If you're not getting a signal to the monitor that means the video card is bad. Find another card to try it with.
But first start with pulling the card out and reinstalling it making sure it's firmly seated.

    Thanx for the help!
I reseated the video card and emptied a can of air for the hell of it.
    WORKS LIKE NEW AGAIN!

How do i change the battery out?
Unplug-matchit up at the comp store-and replace? or is there more to it?

Yes, that's how you change the battery.
