Here's his highlight vid in case some of you don't know who that is.

    link

So he showed positions 50% with the gi, and 50% without. I was the only person smart enough to bring a video camera so I could record all the techniques. No one there is going to remember anything! Anyway.. I can say that I liked the no gi portion more becuase the sweeps he was showing with the gi on weren't quite my style. But he showed an incredibly powerful guillotine/anaconda choke I hadn't seen before.. And some weird trick to getting an armbar from the back.. And I'd say it was well worth the 35 bucks..

    Here are some pics.

So as you may know.. shaolin has a very special arm triangle choke. I decided it would be cool for a picture with him performing the choke on me. Well.. My clumsy friend is aiming the camera.. and taking the picture slowly.. and then all I hear is "wake up tameem!" And I feel shaolin behind me rubbing my shoulders I'm like.. "errrr, what?!" So yeah, I got choked out in the middle of trying to take a picture

i could post sa technique vid.. he wouldnt teach us the arm triangle though! Seems like the way he does it is a bit of a secret. When he put me in it i didnt feel uncomfortable at all.. When most peopel do it.. it kinda cranks your neck.. and is painful. When he did it to me it didnt feel like he was doing very much, and then I passed out in 3 seconds. I think it closed my arteries perfectly.

I have to warn you here, that the blind leading the blind isn't a good thing... I'd hold off on teaching anyone anything until you get some real training

I showed her how to do it but I had to beg her and its not she could do it without me walking her through it the whole time. I know how to do a few chokes I learned from my brother who trains.

Its not like we wrestle and she sub's me  :wiggle:

I mean we wrestle but.......wrong forum :o :mamoru:
