Come Friday that's my next purchase. Now if Amazon would ship it faster than my texts for fall semester I'd be pretty happy.

Were your texts sent from Amazon or from members on Amazon? Big difference in shipping :mamoru:

For the money, fuck it. I've only got the 18-55 so anything is an improvement.

I'm happy with the 1.8.. I actually haven't even gone down as far as 1.8 that much yet.

yeah, I hear ya. Though after about a week I felt that $79.00 was too much for the 50 1.8II.

shut up, dick. I thought it was a mistake and thought I might get lucky. I knew it was too good to be true, but it was a refundable 100 dollar bet I was willing to make. the lens actually came today and you were right.

I want a 10-22 so fucking bad, but I can't afford it. :hs:

I never saw the description that you did. I saw the title of the item and thought I might have caught a huge mistake. oh well, back to the ripoff store it goes.

    seriously, 110 for a 50 1.8?

I found out today (tonight actually) that I'll be taking a trip to Yellowstone and surrounding area for a week. I already have a Tamron 17-50 and Hoya Pro1 CP, but I'm considering getting the 10-22 and a matching set of filters for the lens.

Who knows when I'll get to go to Yellowstone for a week again. I minus whale do it right.

Didnt your invoice say 10-22? You should have tried demanding a 10-22 before returning it.

me either, I wish they would just give the worthy EF-S lenses an "L" equivalent designation already so they would come with a hood and all that stuff, maybe a blue stripe or something, I mean the DO lenses have a green stripe :dunno:
