There is a gym that is in my community town hall which is about a 30 second walk from my place. It's very convenient for me to go there, but the equipment is some what lacking. I'm trying to maximize my routine to make best use of what is there. Here is a rough idea on the selection: An actual gym with bball nets, badminton, whatever other sport etc. Running/Walking track Exercise bikes, elliptical, stepper Hoist (for pull ups, dips, and leg raises) Adjustable bench Dumbbells ranging from 1lb to 100lb Few mats, couple of ab rollers and exercise balls 4 Station combo setup that includes leg press, military press, flys and a few other basic exercises. I've been going there for a couple of months. I usually do at least 30 minutes of cardio to warm up (bball, running, walking, whatever). I have been using the 4 station machine and some free weights but I'd rather get off of it and switch more to dumbbells and other core exercises. Anyone have any suggestions on good exercises to do with this setup? What should I be doing with the dumbbells? Right now I'm doing curls, squats and lunges but need to expand.
