It's not optimal, but if you watch your nutrition and your off days you can probably scrape by :dunno:

Why can't you get more than 4-5 hours?

I live off of 5 hours or less sleep and do fine in the gym. I'm sure I'd do much better if I could actually sleep though.

    Drugs here I come!

I generally get 5 hours at night but get a 1.5-2 hour nap in between classes. I've always wondered how much more beneficial it would be to get this all at once.

I feel 100x better if I get say 7 hours straight, than sleeping 5 and then taking a 2 hour "nap."

Pretty much the only time I get decent sleep is from passing out from drinking (which isn't good sleep) or from taking nyquil. I'm gonna try some benadryl tonight and see how that goes

Wake up earlier and go to the gym in the morning. Physical activity highers body temperature and some researches have shown that it can make it harder to get to sleep if you do it a short time before going to sleep. Or just go to the gym right after work instead.

i've tried to do the AM gym thing.. has never happened... once.

Yeah, maybe I should just carry my gym bag with me and go directly after work.

Thats 6.5 hours already... Also if you leave work at 7 I cant think of a legit reason you couldnt get to bed an hour or so earlier than 2. Are you actually haveing physical trouble sleeping?

    1. Get to bed at 2300.
    2. Wake @ 700
    3. Workout early since you leave for work at 900
    4. ???
    5. Profit

EDIT: How hard can this be? You're only at the gym for 30 minutes.
