yeah, there are. I just ended my membership. $48 bucks a month for a crowded gym is just not what I look forward to anymore.

I figure this way I can still have just as good of a workout, but in my own space and privacy where i can grunt and yell all I want.

Looks sick dude. I don't get how the rack works for free squats, but hopefully there's a way for you to have safety pins set up so that you can go heavy and not have to worry about getting hurt. Also you might want to get a rope attachment for the cable system so you can do face pulls and rope extensions, if you want. :dunno:

and yeah it sucks that you cant' do cleans, but it's not the end of the world. In case you really want to do them is there any where in your back yard or something you can drag the weight to and do them? :dunno: just don't leave the weights outside or they'll rust.

If you look closely, you can see at the bottom of the setup that there are safety arms on the bottom of both legs of the machine. Those are adjustable and basically serve as your ROM limiter. The pins that the bar rests on can be set higher up, so it effectively lets you have a safety bar option for anything to do with a barbell on that unit.

I don't know if cutting the support beam was such a good idea....

I'm in the process of buying my first house and am looking forward to putting in a gym in one side of the garage, I'm going to deck it out with everything, can't wait

lets cut away the foundations of the house, compromising the rigidity. Great.

Let's face it, by the time the house comes down, my delts will be powerful enough to support it until help arrives.
