Let me begin by saying that I know next to NOTHING with regards to physical fitness. What I do know is that after I had my daughter a year ago, I quit smoking and totally blew up. Before she was born I was by no means the symbol of health, but at least I could sit in a chair without my stomach falling over my belt. I weighed about 185, and now I have to be pushing 210. I am 5' 11" tall.

I don't know what to do AT ALL. I know nothing about working out, or eating right. I try my best to attain information through the internet and these forums, but it is all so overwhelming. I cannot piece together everything to figure out what I should do. Hopefully one or more of you guys can find it in your heart to help me out. This was the first place I thought of going for help, because I posted here often when I first joined. Thank you all so much for even reading through this.

Here are a couple of pics for reference.

Read the stickies and use Google. If you can't even do the work to research, how the fuck are you every going to REALLY work at losing weight?

Start jogging a bit and eating right to get your basal metabolic rate up a bit. Add in thsoe situps and pushups to start building a foundation of muscular endurance. I also recommend you do bodyweight squats, and try to get in some chinups if at all possible. There you have yourself a basic bodyweight routine to stay injury free while you build some basic strength back up, and diet and some cardio to get started on fat reduction and energy level.
And don't go too intense for the first few weeks.

Run, situps, pushups, chinups. And do some lower back work. When I started doing heavier squats and especially deadlifts, that was killing me for a while.
