He's the only FFL, but do you need an FFL to be a gun smith?

    i'm retarded

but, since DC had a ban on all guns up until recently, i'm certain he can point you in the right direction.

but since it's broad, DC area could mean most of northern virginia and maryland.

a good place to ask is: www.opencarry.org - the virginia sub forum is VERY active and the members are extremely helpful

Yes, you are retarded. DC had a hand gun ban not a ban on all guns.

What do you need to have done? Atlantic Guns in Silver Spring has Walt, who is pretty damn good at most things. Might want to check with them.

Gunsmiths are suppose to have a FFL. While some do not they are not doing it legally. If caught jail time could be involved. Of course not all FFL's are gunsmiths.
