well this weekend was the gun show in jacksonville. there were 4 guns that i was deciding between. 1. cetme 475. 2. FAL 895. 3. polish AKMS 650. 4. Inland m1 carbine 700. after talking to my brother about prices the FAL was the best deal. the m1 i can get when i get my C&R and the cetme i was told was a peice of crap.

so i went for the FAL which was from a private sale so i didnt have to fill out any forms for it. just handed him the check and walked out with it. final price was $850 and he gave me 3 magavines for it. its an enterprise arms.[IMG]

it is just dead sexy a whole lot better looking then your AR-15s and M4gerys

 I want a FAL but holding out for a DSA. CETME's are hit or miss as anything from Century but if you get one that works right there pretty good rifles, $475 is a bit high though.

Sweet. I've been wanting to shoot one of those. I wish there were ranges that rented rifles around here.

I came really close to buying a CETME at the last gunshow I went to. 400 bucks and it came with 3 mags. I know about the hit and miss, i just would have been kicking myself in the ass if I got a crapper.

    While .308 > .223

    looks of M4 > FAL.

    troof.

    your lying to yourself.
metal better looking then plastic. the pic doesnt do justice for the rifle. it has to be held to truely see just how beautiful it is.

i got a hard on when i started disassembling and fondling it.

It's a very nice memorial. Very moving when you read the names of all the men who have shown what honor and service really mean. These days we throw around the word ‘hero’ for just about anyone who doesn’t drool on themselves but the names etched on the glass of the CMOH Memorial really have earned that title. Many of the medals were awarded posthumously.

I think the cetme/g3 is the best euro .308 battle rifle as far as looks. i would've went with the cetme, but purely over looks. Who else other than century is importing them?
