So what are the gun laws like for military personnel on active duty? Are there any restrictions or anything for owning firearms? What about having a CWL, I heard that you're not even allowed to keep your firearms with you and they have to stay in the armory on base :wtf:.

    Any info would be appreciated.

I think the CO has to give a letter of auth. and yes it has to be in the armory.

You can't have devil dogs running around the barracks with guns every where.

Do you know how many people would be dead? :eek3:

From what I know, if you live in barracks, guns must be kept at the armory. But if you live off-base, then they really don't care, but my command has a list of my personal weapons.

As far as a concealed carry license, you still aren't allowed to carry on base, if it is prohibited.
