I have a CZ 75 SP01 already, so I could get the Kadet kit and put it on there. Or for the same price (roughly) get a Walther P22. I'm not sure which I would rather do. I'd rather not have to switch the SP01 around too much, although it would be good training on the SP01. I haven't read too much on the Kadet kit but my understanding is they're fairly accurate and reliable too. The P22 seems to be better with reliability, but just average for accuracy.

Wasn't an option. I can't stand the looks, regardless of everything else.

Compared to what? The p22's reputation is dismal, at least by my standards. Also be sure to hold one, if you have adult male sized hands it might be too small for you :big grin:

Compared to the older shitty ones as opposed to the newer less shitty ones. I held one last night. It is small and a little awkward, but I'm sure I could manage. Or just go Kadet.. Cheapest I can find the Kadet kit for is $280ish right now.

You can probably pick an entire s&w 22a up at a local store for $200-225. Aluminum frame, easy take down, free shipping on a lifetime warranty if it dies, adult sized grips.... Beretta neos is pretty hideous but I'd still rather gamble on it than a p22 also :big grin: The keltec plr-22 should be out around june for less than $300 too. Its not my taste but maybe its yours.

I would pick up the Kadet personally, same grip and it gives you cheaper practice w/ the same pistol

    SP-01 /= P-01

That's what I'm starting to think.

I love my SP01. I've been looking at the P01, but have no need at all for one right now. Very comfortable to hold and points naturally for me. I like the night sights and decocker. Plenty of mods if you're interested but shoots well right out of the box too. Pretty problem free.

I got mine from galleryofguns.com over the summer. They were on sale and I got a pretty good deal through the place closest to me actually. You won't be dissapointed.
