My budget for guns is kaput. Just found out yesterday that the wife is pregnant. It's still too early(at most a couple weeks) to have an idea of due date or gender yet, but it'll probably be some time in November or December. I have the go ahead for 1 more purchase which will probably be a makarov. After that, any $$ not spent on bills will have to be socked away in anticipation of our coming child. It still hasn't really sunk in that I'm going to be a dad. I'll post pics of whatever I manage to find. After that, I'll be asking for Sportsmans Warehouse gift cards for xmas and birthday and use those for my new acquisitions. On a side note, my red dot got here today, but I'm gonna need an adaptor to get it mounted on the Desert Eagle.

Here are the obligatory pics... the second pic is really crappy. the dot doesn't really look like a chevron

You're not very good at haggling, but you've got a deal.

Congrats on the baby. Make sure that when he/she is old enough to buy him/her a nice 10/22 and Ruger MK. Another future member of GunCrew on the way.

actually, i'll probably pass down a .22 revolver my dad handed down to me recently. it was the first gun of any kind i ever shot. seems kinda fitting that it should be my child's first gun to shoot as well.

if i made more money, i wouldn't need the okay. but, we're going to be helping each other to pay off/down some of our debts so we'll have more $$ for diapers, formula and all of the other incidental costs associated with kids.

I've been in the same boat for over a year. He's almost 7 months now and I still can't believe it. I'm just now getting the OK to buy 2 guns and I had to sell one to do it. :wtc:

    Worth every penny. :bigthumb:

no. even if i didn't have a personal aversion to divesting myself of weapons, i like it too much to sell it. and it was a wedding present from the wife:big grin:
