How to download the anime of your choice? Well there are three steps to this: Finding the anime and who has subbed/dvd-ripped it. Some dvd-rips are dual audio. Finding where the file is hosted. Downloading via IRC, Direct Download, Bittorrent or other ways. Step 1: Finding who has subbed/dvd-ripped your anime. Go to anidb: http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl and then search your anime title in the top right hand corner. Say the anime you want is Inu Yasha, search for it. Then you find yourself at this page: http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=animelist&adb.search=Inu+Yasha&do.search=search And it’s a list. Your looking for the Inu Yasha tv episodes so click on the top one. And you will come to this page: http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=144 Then scroll down a bit and you will see a list of groups and you realise that these four groups have fully completed Inu Yasha: Ø Anime-Kraze Ø SaiyaMan Ø InuYasha 4Ever Fansubs Ø Anime-BT Step 2: Finding where the file is hosted. Anime-Kraze has been rated the highest, since it is a good dvd-rip/subbing group. So click on Anime-Kraze. And you come to this page: http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=group&gid=85 This page shows what and how much of each series the group have done. But in the top corner there is normally information regarding the group. In this case there is a URL: http://www.anime-kraze.org/ , but if there isn’t then there is an IRC link. Now go to http://www.anime-kraze.org/ and they normally have two areas, a bittorent area and an xdcc list. In this case the bittorent list is: http://tracker.danomac.org/a-kraze/ Now just open the torrent you were looking for in your bittorent client. Step 3: Downloading. Downloading is easy. There are three main ways to do this. Direct Download IRC Bittorent Direct Download is the easiest, but I recommend you get a download client like Getright (good and free) or DAP (good but have to pay for it). IRC is much harder but gives sometimes direct download speeds. Check this guide: http://www.kasshin.net/ for how to download using IRC protocol. Also you can normally download stuff from the channel linked in the IRC area of the user info page (the page linked to at the start of step 2). Bittorent is also an easy way but is slower than Direct Download. The best clients are utorrent [http://www.utorrent.com/], BitComet [http://www.bitcomet.com/] and Azureus [http://www.Azureus.com]. In order of greatness Azureus comes first then BitComet then utorrent. But Azureus uses a lot of system resources due to java, so I would advise you to try BitComet or utorrent. I get faster speeds with BitComet though, but I find utorrent takes up much less space and system resources. But after you download always leave your bittorent client open so that you can upload the amount you downloaded. The End I will update this guide with any questions asked. I will also put a list of areas to quickly download from.
