I have this weird half second lag after I close a window of any kind on my system...I can move the mouse but the clicks take .5 seconds to register

It was one of the main reasons I reformatted, but it's back.

Interestingly enough uninstalling IE7 improved things but I'm still having problems.

Graphics driver updates didn't do anything the last time around.

    Specs:

    Self Built
    Core 2 Duo E6300
    nVidia 7900GS 256MB
    2GB RAM
MSI P4M890M Motherboard (Via P4M890 Chipset)

You guys gotta help me there...this shit is driving me bananas.

    Yes.

The lag came back after I installed IE7.

Weird bug...Even then, I am not sure, because after uninstalling, I'm still having problems.

Use DriverCleaner Pro to remove all the video drivers on your computer, then reinstall the latest driver for your video card.

(I recommend pre-downloading the latest driver so you don't have to surf the web on a 640x480 screen.)
