    Sup bros, haven't been in here a while but that doesn't mean I haven't been lifting heavy and eating good. Yall think I should lean up more or maintain?

    hah yeah, the most i've weighed when I bulked was 230. haha so fat though.
    I could get leaner pretty easily but I have a major fear of looking too skinny.

    7-8% Looking great man. Really no reason to get any leaner. If i were you, i'd try to carb-cycle for a slow bulk. But really, do whatever brings you the most satisfaction. if you wanna get leaner, hit it up, if you wanna get stronger do that. or if you are perfectly happy, maintain. Again, looking boss bro :bigthumb:


    What was your diet and cardio plan like to get here?
    I ask (and the reason for the bolded part in the quote) was because getting to and below tis level felt like hell for my energy and enjoyment of life.

    Well, as a kid I was super skinny and lean, and once I started college I started lifting and bulking. I went from 160 to 180 in about 2 years, then I went from 180 to 200 in about 2 years, then one year I wanted to get as big as possible so I ate a ridiculous amount of food and lifted a lot and got up to 230, I cut down to about 200, stayed there for a while, then went from 200 to 185 now. I cut really slowly so I keep as much muscle and strength as possible. I lift more like a body builder now but my strength isn't that much less than what it was when i weighed a lot. I'm probably stronger in some lifts now than I ever was.

    Thanks man. I do a modified pur diet (stickies) with more calories. I've been doing it for the past year. Weekend I eat similar but more food, have a chipotle bowl and shit like that.

    3 eggs, 1/2 cup of egg whites, 1/2 cup of oat meal

    1/4 cup of ground turkey, 1/2 cup of brown rice, a little oil

    1 sweet potato, 1 chicken breast, scoop of peanut butter

    1/4 cup of ground turkey, 1/2 cup of brown rice, a little oil

    During lifting- 1 scoop of carb powder, 1 scoop a whey
    after lift- 1 gatorade

    Sirloin steak, 1 can of black beans, salad

    Before bed- 1 scoop of whey, 1/2 banana, little peanut butter

    I NEVER do cardio. I play golf on the weekends and I'm fairly active. Cardio makes me get too skinny

    If I cut the cals down I'll get even leaner but I def don't want to get below 180.

    I take 2 solid shits a day like clock work, one of them at 7 am and the other at 3pm. I drink a bunch of water so I piss a lot.
