Turns out I'm a good shot no matter what I'm shooting at. Found out this afternoon the wife is preggo. Everybody keep their fingers crossed that it has a penis.

    Eh, not too bad.

I'm in the same boat as you. When I do have a kid, it better be a fucking boy, or I'm stuffing it back in.

I have two girls ... I'll be 44 when the youngest graduates in 7 years.

They've taken a slight interest in shooting. They've both shot my 10/22... so all hope is not lost if it's a girl.

Just look at Laurel. There's girls that like to shoot.

There are lots of girls that like to shoot. :)

Just think how much fun a youth 10/22 with the pepto-bismol stock would be!

My wife likes to shoot, that's not why I want a boy.
Watever we have is going to have to like guns, the nursery will have my safe in the corner.

Congrats! My little girl will be 8 in a couple months, and she's growing like a weed. She towers over kids in her class and on her basketball team. Our family doctor says she's likely to be over 6 feet tall.

Anyway, I'm hesitant to get her a cricket because she might outgrow it. How annoying is it for an adult to shoot a cricket?

I already have a Thompson Encore in .22-250, I think they make youth stocks for them, so that may be the way I end up going. Just an excuse to pick up more scoped barrels for it. It's probably my favorite rifle..... so maybe I'll have to pick up another:rofl:

Grats! Fatherhood is an adventure of a lifetime.

Two boys here, 1 and 4. Next camping trip in the spring is when my oldest will get his first shot. I've been trying to teach him safety on a spring airsoft gun I bought for him, but he's still a little too young in the patience department. I've been looking for a decent deal on a cricket too. :)

Have one daughter will be 44-45ish when she graduates college. She has a Rossi .22, I have sanded the stock and foregrip and repainted them pink. She loves it.
