I always hated having the decals up top because it screws up the wipers.

Unaffected...besides it beats being down on the drivers side front of the windshild.

Besides, the car looks more balanced with my DoD sticker up there. :)

Looks good, I would've gone with an HPA kit though.

I've got a tornado red .:R32 sitting in the garage

What kind of turbo does that thing have? I notice the torque curve drops off right quick, it looks a lot like a Borg-Warner K03's torque curve. Or do you have a big turbo with the boost on a tight leash?

How is that at the wheels when it says "drivetrain losses not included"?

And assuming that is crank, that's pretty weak for stage 2. Seems more like stage 1.

Trust me, it's at the wheels. Dyno'd on APR's Chassis Dyno.

Because the dyno machine takes its measurements at the wheels, and it would have to know what the exact drivetrain losses are in order to calculate HP/tq at the crank?

At least, I'm guessing that's how it went down. I'm fairly confident that the guy didn't have his engine removed just to get an at-the-crank HP/tq reading.

Well obviously it's measured at the wheels, but its corrected to show a measurement at the crank using a correction factor, plus its SAE corrected so it eliminates variables such as altitude, temp, etc and puts everything on a 'level' playing field of sea level, 77 deg F, etc.

Your car is not putting down 256whp to the ground. It's putting out 256hp at the crank.

Your car must be a wonder-car then b/c you're dyno'ing a good 30hp and 50tq more than any other stg2 2.0T car that i've ever seen, regardless of chip manufacturer. Either that, or the new APR fuel pumps are worth every penny.

But like bcze1 on the vortex, (in your thread) I'm curious as to the actual numbers before they were SAE corrected. I still think they are artificially high.

I have to admit that I find Vortex a bore compared to OT. I'm tempted to stop posting and just use it to gather info. The users have no sense of humor and are just dull!

As for the Dyno, there's a bit more done in terms of mods than most others. The Stage II isn't custom either (I was testing some software for APR earlier) but rather their production Stage IIb.

I've expressed interest with them to have EuroTuner and some others do a thing on the car. I would like to get the minor brake items done and the body panels painted though before hand.

I've done exactly that on the vortex. Anything I need to look up is somewhere on that site, so i'll just search and be on my way. That way I can avoid all the new schmucks that join daily asking "will 20's fit on my ride?"

Get some good brake pads.. EBC's or Hawks or something. I can't stress that enough to ppl on how great of a mod a really good set of performance brake pads is, especially for how they are.
