Anyone have one? This is the .22LR replica of the MP-5.
Looks fun. Needs a real suppressor though
2001 and you can't use the goddamn search function?
Suck a dick. I wanted opinions, looked at the first page, and found nothing on it.
And on that note, il++;
Isn't that what the fuckin search function is for.....to find threads not on the 1st page?
Here b/c you're to inept to do it yourself
Everyone that owns one seems to like them a lot.
Did it ever occur to you that he may not have a search function? You have a sub and search privileges but not everyone else does. I suggest you tone down the attitude because you're coming off as mentally retarded.
fuck you, faggot. there are less than 20 threads of search results from "gsg5" or "gsg-5"
shut the fuck up
He's an OG and he has search
hes a 2001 = OG = all features are free
I really want one. Plinking 5.56 get's too expensive. Looks fun as hell
GSG5 is the gayest fucking thing I have ever seen, saw a bunch of kids with one at a range down south, funny enough one of the guys was wearing a plate carrier trying to mimmick some pathetic swat guy with his "up weapon" drills. Only problem is his plastic piece of shit airsoft 22 jammed up on him about every 3 or 4 shots.
Most likely it was the ammo.
Im still not a fan of this thing, why would you pay 500 bucks for a plastic copy of an MP? Can't you get something that actually works and is sturdy called a ruger 10/22 for 180 bucks.
or you could get a marlin 60/795 and you'd have something reliable, actually accurate out of the box, and without the shitty politics that come with ruger... oh and for less money (got mine new for $130).
But the point of the GSG is to add a little "flair".
There's a video on youtube where some guy went through a whole box of remmy gold bullet (one of the absolute worst bulk packs of .22lr) and he said he only got 3-4 jams out of the whole 550 pack, all of which were ammo related.
And as much as I love my 10/22 (and I still recommend it as an ideal first gun) it's not a perfect gun. Most are very picky about ammo, there aren't many working high cap magazines, all the magazines are relatively expensive, and on top of all of that it's still not very accurate out of the box.
I've got one, shot it last sunday. Had a couple issues with light primer strikes on the first 2 rounds, after that it ran flawlessly. It gets a lot of hate on OT because OT is nothing but hardcore operators.
It's a fun gun, some of us HAVE 10/22s and still wanted something to plink with at the range. My dealer was waiting to shoot mine, he's waiting to get one of his own now.
I wanted fresh input on what looked like an interesting firearm, pardon me if late last night I didn't feel like searching on something I was curious about on a whim.
I'll let you know whenever mine shows up. 3 Months and counting. lol
no different than many people and their 10/22's. I am glad I got my marlin... no temptation to modify.
And from the rest of the input, it seems like if you use decent ammo it can be a fun toy.
Either way I have other 22's including a 10/22 already, I just like fun plinkers and figured I'd ask since it's not that badly priced in the grand scheme of things.
