GRR Martin fans quit whining.. Donaldson's Covenant books dont finish til 2013

    fuckin sucks.. we wait 20 years for the new Thomas Covenant books and it takes 12 years to finish the series...

    I don't understand how a single book takes that long to write unless you are making the story as you go along

    When the Covenant hero raped the chick in the first few chapters of the first book I put it down. Should I pick it back up?

    i didnt like the series. i force-fed myself the first couple of books, but i got tired of reading his LOTR knock-offs.

    Because he spends all his time changing words with his thesaurus. I've bought the first two books of the new Thomas Covenant series but there's not much point reading them until he's finished.

    The difference is, the GRRM books are actually good.

    LOL. I had to check, but yes, I actually own one of these books. My dad got it for me randomly one christmas. Runes of Earth. Poor dad, didn't even know it was a part of a series.
