Hey, last night I met my friend that just got a COC #2 ...he's been dying to get me to take a look see. And so when we met up I brough my 180lb RB gripper for him to test.

Upon my evaluation...as you know I've been crunkin' the hell out of my RB from the moment I got it and my hands have been brutally burnt out. So, not only was the COC A LOT lighter but the #2 was insanely easy for me. With my busted up right hand I squeezed 9 reps and 6 with my left. Then immediately got 3 reverse squeezes with the right and barely 1 with my left. He couldn't close my RB gripper once with either hand.

After crunking the hell out of his #2...I couldn't budge mine.

Why is mine sooooooo much harder (and I don't mean because I gripped his todeath) but right off the line mine is MUCH MUCH harder than the #2. I"m positive that I can close the 3 a few times with each hand.

BTW, my back and bi day was absolute SHIT because of my busted up, overcrunked hands :hs:

Maybe the handles are set differently and they judge resistance by the spring? Fuck if I know :o

You act as if Grouch doesn't search for crunk, grip, etc religiously. He's been here enough to see it.

Well the short answer is that grippers very.

BUT the RB180 shouldn't be harder than a Coc2. Maybe as hard but not harder. It's not till the RB210 that the RB line starts to fit inbetween the Coc2 and 3.

I would say get your self a 3 and see how you do with it. It could be that you have a harder than average RB180 and he has a easy 2.

Do you know how old the 2 is?

I'm going today to a local fitness place Pacillo's...they have a COC 3 and 4

my friends #2 is about a month old.

and trust me there is a significant difference in resistance from his to mine. I'd say his feels 20lbs easier than mine. Even he contested to that as well.

Its not like I got 1 or 2 crunks more on his...you have to understand I wasn't expecting to get it at all since I know it was supposed to be harder and my hands are busted up...but I crushed the fuck out of it like it was nothing.

I'll let you know how the 3 goes...

Yeah I dunno, sounds like one of the grippers is funky.

But if you close that #3 I swear to god I'll take my Brass RB300 and priority mail it to your head.
