grip work on deads, pin pulls

    The buddy I lift with wanted me to ask for him how you guys improve your grip strength. His grip strength is holding him back in pulling more weight for dead and pin pulls. How do you train your grip for those two lifts? Neither of us really want to use straps, ever if possible.

    Im guessing static hold is just loading on a crapton of weight on barbell and holding it?
