    never done it, but i know there's a group of F&N'ers that were big into gripping

    i'm not sure.

    i like to do stuff.

    thats the only reason i havn't bought them. i don't know what the hell I need it for. maybe I don't need it, I just want a strong grip? fuck I don't know.

    kind of wondering if anyone else uses em, benefits? does it make me stupid powerful?

    i ordered some wrist straps from ironmind, got a catelog with them, and I read there 14 page article on grip strength. the pictures looked cool.

    I use them. I prefer the Beef Builder grippers over the Iron Mind COC's. Not a fan of the Heavy Grips.

    if your goal is to hold onto a heavy bar then don't bother fucking around with grippers.

    the ad in the ironmind catalog talked about crushing a raw potato at about 280 lbs.. that sounds sweet to me.

    if you want to build real grip strength, use fatter bbs, dbs...

    my grip strength improved a ton when i started using a fat bar and doing farmers walk

    I use them just cause I like closing grippers. I can close the COC #3 without too much effort and also the Beef Builder Grand Master. I don't think grippers have too much carryover to anything lifting wise to be honest.

    one of my training partners closed the #2 the first time he touched it but drops 70% of his DL attempts over 700lbs while I can't even come close to closing the #2 and I can hold onto 750-770 on a barbell for days.

    i've never had any grip problems and can barely get a #1 with my right hand and a trainer with my left

    pulling for reps and holding the bar at lockout for a second or two seems to help the most

    LOL I never had grip problems until I got above 750 then I had to do what you just suggested.
