I'm thinking Jardine/Griffin 2 then winner gets a title shot? I think thats fair.

Not to mention this guy is hilarious, I thought i was there, then Keith knocked me out and I got depressed and sad, and ate a lot of cookies... and then my friends and family told me you're not good at anything else you better get back to training.

Forrest Griffin is hands down one of the best characters in MMA today :bowrofl:. I think that the only one that comes close is Rampage. Forrest/Jardine 2 needs to happen and the winner needs to fight Rampage. Houston and Machida need to fight, too. Let those two battle it out for the next in line. Chuck and Wandy should still be on. They're both coming off of two losses and, judging by most people's reactions, there are still enough Chuck nut huggers out there to make it a popular fight.

:werd: Both those fights would be hot. I'd like to see Machida vs a guy who will come at him hard, and Houston against a guy who can get away and strike from the outside.

I'm excited, I think this card set up a lot of really cool fights.

    Forrest vs wanderlei
That fight has drama and both guys have mass appeal.
    Winner gets rampage

    Rua vs Jardine

Not sure what happens after the tito-rashad fight, either. There is so much parity in the 205 class right now. And its full of tough guys that slowly grind out fights. I actually wanna see the winner of tito-rashad fight machida.
Its crazy how many of the 205 contenders are from TUF. Forrest, bisping, Evans, Jardine. And whoever comes out on top of the bisping-hamill fight is gonna be pushed to the top.

Pushed maybe, but they will fall short.

Bisping is going to 185 iirc

Not yet. He has the hamill rematch first, and if he wins that soundly I'm sure his 205 confidence will return.

Forrest looked like Randy. Dirty boxing, trips using an over-under clinch, circling for the back, it was a well thought out and executed game plan.

Forrest is an absolute machine with tons of heart. Him sinking in that choke with blood dripping from his forehead onto the mat is poster material.

However, I was more impressed with fitch. He fought a more game opponent for 3 full rounds. Shogun only fought 1 round.

Sure, I wouldnt mind seeing that fight, but I'd hate to see Wanderlei lose to a guy whos had 2 fights in the UFC. Sure it'd build a star but at what cost? They're paying Alexander pennies and Wanderlei bank.

LOL then we'll see Wandy get KO'd by Houston Alexander. That would be fucking crazy.

all of his gaping holes in his defense disappeared. I was shocked.

Forrest may be funny, but I prefer fighters that dont cry and run out of the octagon when they lose.

I think Forrest looked great! He showed some much heart and improved skills. Gone are the days of wild brawling. While fun to watch it was only a matter of time before someone put him down.
As far as fights go I think the best of the night was those scrappy 155's. Tyson really impressed me I hope he goes far.

I love that 155 is getting such great fights, my friends used to bitch about LW fights, now they are pumped to see a bunch of 155ers on a card.

Forrest did not look like the same fighter. And was it just me or did he look huge compared to Shogun?

I don't think that Houston is all that. He's extremely aggressive and hits hard but I think that someone that could control the pace or keep him on the ground would beat him. He kinda reminds me of Terry Martin. I still say that Machida should be the next guy that they throw him in with.

Forrest vs Silva would be an awesome matchup. Isn't Wandy training with Couture now, though? If Wandy starts fighting in the UFC I guess that it would be inevitable that they fight each other at some point. Imagine if Forrest beat Silva and then went on to beat Rampage. The first TUF winner goes on to beat three of the best Pride LHWs of all time .

Has Hendo ruled himself out of the 205 mix? Arona is coming too - should make things even more interesting.

    Machida would gas Alexander out.

So is tito pretty much gonzo as far as the belt is concerned. So many good 205'ers out there now. He seems so out classed to me now.

Yeah I know Soko isn't in the UFC, I wasn't being serious. Houston just reminds me of what Soko did in Pride, albeit against lesser competition (heh, supposedly).
