Speaking of which, make sure you get a couple of suits made while you are there, much nicer and cheaper than what you will get in the US at a department store.

That's the only thing that makes Germany tolerable, leaving Germany whenever possible.

I have never met anyone who was stationed in Germany who didn't want to go back more than anything. Maybe you are being a barracks rat?

My Sister and Brother-in-Law got back from Germany a year or so ago. They loved the hell out of it. I've only been to Germany a couple of times on short TDY's but I never saw anything I didn't like. :dunno:

Nope, I'm going to Switzerland for 4 days.

Don't get me wrong, I have fun on the weekends. But Sunday-Thursday I'm bored out of my fucking skull. I usually take classes just to have something to do. Living here has made me realize that the US is by far the best place in the world to live. Other countries are cool to visit but USA is still #1.

Heres a tip. In your next duty station, and you see a Korean guy, don't tell him any stories about your stay in Korea. I'll bet you a cajillion dollars that they've heard your story before.
