Well I finally ordered my lower from CMMG with a seperate order for the internals w/ a Magpul grip.

All should be in hopefully next week. I plan on taking a shitload of pics if anyone is interested. :noes:

Man, I just wanted to get a simple AR but the more I look at accessories and parts the more I inch towards the 'Add to cart'.

This could get interesting. And I could get broke.

What's the scope and mount in the middle picture? Is that a flip-up rear sight, also?

    Links?

scope is a nikon pro staff, rear flip up is an ARMS #40L. Scope mount is from
Rock River. The scope/mount combo works great with the flip-up.

wanted to get things back in chronological order :)

oh...the non-magnified optic is a fakepoint and mount from 1337 tactical.

    so far it works well.

Doh thanks for pointing that out I missed it :)

I have a fake one as well and I gotta say it is nice and held up fine. I put it on my .22 after upgrading optics on my AR and it is a great sight.

    Where's the ACOG?

I'm trying to decide whether my next build is going to be an M16A4 clone, AR22, or lightweight 16/14.5. :dunno:

In a box waiting for a build. I am doing a 14.5" build that will be awesome for the ACOG. My other AR right now got taken over by my GF and she likes a higher magnification.

I would either do a AR22 or 14.5" build. If you want a 14.5" CMMG upper we have 1 left I can get you a great deal on....

Yep plus the rounded edges are a little friendlier.

Got the fakepoint to see if I would enjoy shooting with it before I bought an
actual fakepoint. I assumed it wouldn't be that accurate or I would always
have to mess with it, but it works well. I usually shoot with a magnified optic
    so I was a little "meh" about the aimpoint....but since I got the 308 I don't
mind shooting the AR with a non-magnified optic.

That said, I haven't had a good reason to pull the fakepoint off and buy a
    real one. :dunno:

I'm going to have to get one of those trigger guards when I get around to building my AR. It gets to damn cold here not to wear gloves.

It doesn't get cold enough here to NEED gloves very often.

My real problem is that I have my debit card number memorized and like to
randomly type it in when I'm looking at stuff online :sadwavey:

Ahh shit man my bad! I am real bad at returning PMs because I forget to look and my adblock blocks the popup saying 'New PM'. I'll shoot you my email, I check that constantly throughout the day or you can even call me.
