I went to a Rob Liefeld signing recently. We all know about his drawing controversies, but since he created Deadpool, I figured what the heck.

Here's the big-ass line for him. It's already got at least a whole 5 people waiting 10 minutes before start time.

Here's a kid dressed as Deadpool. I'm surprised he didn't pass out from the heat.

Him taking a pic of someone's custom mighty mugg.

    Some prints he was selling.

    I bought these next two.

Thought about getting this one, but he ran out.

A sneak peek of his stuff for Deadpool #900.

    I got these comics signed.

Since the Obama mania seems to have faded in comics, I figured I should go for the lulz on the next one. I asked for a word balloon of Obama saying this. Rob got a kick out of it, so he obliged. What words of wisdom could he be writing...

I believe it's a one-shot that's coming out in October. It's numbered like that to poke fun at the return of original numbering on other comics (i.e. Spider-man and Thor are back in the 600's even though they restarted the numbering at #1 back in the 90's).

I think prints are generally sold directly from artists, I don't think I see them advertised in comic shops very often. You'd be more likely to find posters in a shop.

I could check with the dealer who sponsored Liefeld's signing and see if he has any? I'd need a few days to find out.

Prints are pretty cool just because he inven...parodied deathstroke, whatever...

    I wouldn't have let him sign my C&D #1 :o

I hate signed comics. Mostly because I loathe standing in line for a sketchbook, print, or request a commission and some fat mongoloid brought a fucking long box to sign. I love coming up to writers and artists where they charge a buck to sign books over 10 or 20.

If it's Mike Choi, I just drop my shit off, come back and all my shit is drawn/signed when I come back like an hour later so I don't have to lug it around :coold:

You want that and think choi is too expensive

The closest you'll get to a Choi statue is the X-23 comiquette sideshow based off the character designed by billy tan and later by choi, either one is pretty close.

Can't get it from Sideshow anymore, but some of their onlilne dealers still have them :hs:

I'll admit, when it first came out I thought it looked a little off, but it's awesome IRL.
