First time shooting water..
cool pics, slow down the shutter and you can get some smooth silky water
yeah i wanted too.. but it was REALLY sunny out today.. shot at around 11am this morning. I was using f/32. wish it was a bit cloudier so i could keep the shutter open longer
Stack 5 or 10 nd filters on it.
or two polorizers
And zoom all the way out.
2 polorizers would be the best option for cutting down light though
Won't that vignette real bad?
not if you shoot stopped down
you could make it black with a twist
okay so i went back later tonight after the sun was going down so it wasn't so bright.. took some more pics.. left the shutter open longer to give the water the 'silky' affect.
much better, but quit trying to make the photo unrealistic.

I saw the pics on Drag....
The night ones look much better.
I like the pictures, but agree, your post processing is way over done. A little compensation here and there is okay. But you're heavily over doing the saturation in your skys and hues on the objects in the image. That looks is great for art or fashiong...but imho nature should be natural.
yeah, i agree. i just wanted to play with some of the pics cause it's winter time.. so everything is brown and dead.. figured a little color might make 'em look better. some of the pics are more artsy.
