  3. I don't like wearing a watch, but, I guess, that one would be great for all my important missions. lol

I spent way too much on a Suunto watch that has time/altitude/weather/compass features. The only feature I use other than time is the temperature reading. I get a perverse pleasure in knowing exactly how much suck in degrees I am experiencing at any given moment. :mamoru:

I should have either spent $100 more on a model that included a GPS, or else saved a ton of money and gone with a cheap digital watch.

I was issued a Suunto Vector and I bought a Suunto Advizor. I also bought the Suutno X9mi GPS watch about 1.5yrs ago. It sucks and I sold it for profit after I got from aafes using a 25% off coupon two Christmases ago. You did the right thing and saved your money. You would be better off with something like a Garmin Forerunner to supplement your watch.

  10. :cool:Does lapolicegear.com have satellite phones? I would love to have one for when my wife and I go camping and drive on remote dirt forest roads. I've been waiting for them to minitiarize the technology and for the prices to come down.

I got mine for $12 years ago and it still works just fine. Plus, I'm not going to get pissed off WHEN I scratch the shit out of it on something.
