Dr Robert Neville (Will Smith) Hero M4 Carbine
    Stock # 12363

This hero blank-fire M4 carbine was used by Will Smith as Dr. Robert Neville in the 2007 blockbuster I Am Legend. In the film, Dr. Neville is the sole human survivor in New York City after a virus epidemic swept through the world. Neville is in constant danger of being attacked by the mutant zombies, so he is well armed. Neville’s weapon of choice is a highly-customized M4 rifle- in fact, it never leaves his side.

This is a genuine Colt M4 carbine in 5.56mm, semi-automatic civilian version, that was modified for the film to fire blanks and to fire full-auto. The rifle has since been returned to its original semi-automatic configuration (the changes are internal parts only), so it can be sold to any US citizen in a state that does not forbid ownership of such a rifle . As it is a real firearm, all of the moving parts are fully functional on this model- the retractable stock, removable magazine, working switches, charging handle, sling. It can be fully field stripped as well. The scope is a practical scope with real glass optics. The surefire flashlight and laser on the forearm are also both practical, and functional. The light and laser unit can be removed from the forearm and swapped to the other side- it is seen on both sides in the film. The pressure switch, which activates the light, was just stuck to the forearm with a bit of double-sided tape, so it could be moved around as well. This hero rifle is the signature piece from the film.

This Colt M4 carbine was rented to the production, and includes a copy of the rental invoice. As it has been modified to fire blanks for the film industry, the rifle is no longer capable of firing real ammunition and is sold as a collectible item only.
The piece is still technically a firearm and thus must be transferred through the proper channels. The carbine is currently held by a licensed firearms dealer and can only be transferred to your local licensed firearms dealer. You will then have to go through the necessary steps to purchase a firearm, which vary state by state. Colt M4 carbines are illegal in some states such as CA and NY, so please inquire with us if interested. This is one of two blank-firing M4 carbines used in the film. Measures 32” x 13” x 5”.

This item can be imported to the UK, but will require deactivation
