"gray screen of death" v. HELP

    so my computer froze while browsing Safari and i went to restart and it goes to a gray screen and then does nothing else.

    What do i do!?!? :sadwavey:

    shut it down...wait a couple minutes, then boot back up

    just got back from taking it into the "genius bar" and apparently it wont boot up from a disk or an external drive. So they hard drive crashed or something and the bus was no longer reading the operating system or something...so now i won't see it for five days while its getting fixed :hs:
