either gi pants or board shorts, a cup, and usually a rashguard. Sometimes a T-shirt but usually a rashguard. I'm taking a few months off of training with a Gi. Lots of dudes at my school wear a mouthpiece but I don't just for rolling.

T-shirt, my sprawl shorts (first generation, which I've been wearing ever since they came out and they are still in good fkn condition, incredible cause I wear them like 4-5 times a week, hell I used to go swimming in them in the summer) and kneepads.

I have bruises and abbrasions all over my body from BJJ. It's just something you gotta get used to if you grapple hard although things like underarmour help some.

I don't have bruises on my upper body as much as I do on my shins and knees.

I better teach my body to adapt to the white belts with flailing elbows and knees during technique work when we have to alternate partners. Today I came out with two bloody gashes on my arm as well.

different body types i guess, i'm kind of stocky and don't bruise easily

Before i used to have bruises all over my arms and chest from judo, then they just stopped appearing.

The only problem for me is my face which bruises so easily (pale skin), i can't count the number of times i've split my lips aswell.

I have a really low body fat maybe that's why I bruise so easily.

My lips split alot as well. I'm going to be getting a mouthguard soon.
