graphics problem

Discussion in 'OT Technology' started by BluePhoenix451, Jul 14, 2004.

  1. I made a website, and it looks fine on my computer and others I've seen it on, but on my friend's computer, some of the layers overlap and get misplaced. the site is www.phoenixgamers.com It's the home page.

    Thanks

What browser are you using on your computer? What about on your friend's? Depending on the html you used to create the page, different browsers may render the page differently. Also, does your friend have a different resolution setting than you? That could also cause overlapping, again depending on the html and css used.

Ugh, you used Frontpage, didn't you? I just looked at the source code... IMHO, Frontpage is crap. I don't use it, and there's no way I'm gonna try to decipher all the junk it puts in there. My suggestion? Switch to Dreamweaver. If that's not doable, use Notepad. I'd go with Notepad over Frontpage any day of the week.
