The graphics card that came with my computer is crap. It's a VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP 64 mb. I just bought CS:S + Garry's mod, and I'm not even sure if this pile will run it good. The rest of my PC passed that sysrequirementslab test for Half-Life 2 with flying colors, but the G-card just barely passed. Anyone have any idea on how the game(s) will run, and any suggestions for a cheap graphics card that I can replace this one with? What's the best bang for my buck? (I'm a college student, so my "buck" is nothing special). Thanks alot guys.
Also is there any way to tell whether I have a PCI-e slot without opening my tower?
Edit: I figured out it only has an AGP.

Best bang for your buck, huh? Well how many bucks are we talking about?

And even though you figure out how to tell, something you could have used was Everest Free which you can find at majorgeeks.com. It'll tell you everything you want to know about your system but were afraid to ask.

Really? Was it new or refurb?

New AGP cards (with GeForce 7) are pretty expensive on the 'egg. $109 for a 7300GT AGP.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814122019

bStiffler582, I'd say check ebay if you think those prices are too expensive. Good deals are on ebay a lot :)
