what do i need in a dvi graphics card to run two 1600x1200 monitors? is there a difference between dual-link stuff like the ATI cards (one dvi port that splits into two with a cable or something like that) and cards that have two dvi ports on the card itself?

most of the ATi cards that do dual-link only support analog.

In order to run 1600x1200, any 32MB or better card that supports dual mons will work. I'm using a dual-dvi 6600GT and it kicks ass.

personally, I'd go for one with 2 dvi ports, as opposed to a breakout box. Less to go wrong, and fewer areas for quality degredation.

yeah, and all the ones ive seen come with dvi-analog adapters in case you need to run something with analog-only on it. 6600 gt is really nice.
