Hey all, just sayin what's up and all.

I graduated BMT on the 28th of November, then moved on to Tech School on the 1st of December. Just started class on the 5th of December, working towards graduating and working in the AF as a 3C2. :bigthumb:

I actually did better than what I thought I was gonna do, and friggin got Honor Graduate. I felt good about that and my wife was happy and proud. And my pops was really happy!

I got to play the role of a Dorm Chief, which was pretty interesting, but well worth it in the end.

Right now, just getting used to the life of a Tech School student. It is cool beans, the rules are way different.

Anyway, 16 weeks in Mississippi, and then onwards to wherever the Air Force needs me.

Well, just stopping in and giving a status update and a big thank you to Teh Barracks!

    Dhafra right?

Haha, I was over there awhile back. Us flightline guys don't use AEFs but it was early this year.

It's a damn resort compared to the other places out there. All the nonners got to work in the indoors AC, I was so jealous. At least I had the CAC during my one day off.

I thought the 336th(3c tech) was lame... I liked it better at the Medina Annex in San Antonio. No one gave a shit in my squadron(342nd Combat Training Sq) about phases and crap just as long as we were in the dorms on time.

Edit: Yeah I was another EOD failure to 3c0... which is what happened to a lot of people that didnt make it back in 2002-2003.

IE lets rush Vista onto all of these computers without saying anything and then we cannot use our software that is quite costly. Lets block USB so I again cannot use some of my survey equipment. Lets load 84039280498 patches and fuck up shit.

lets block all the awesome websites

fuck you comm...lets give my new troop a cac card but then only one comm guy on base can make it work for some reason

    what's up all?

Yea, 336th is a lot harsher on the students then where I am staying. I am housed at the 338th so I get the good side of living and then the schooling from 336th.

    Tech school is pretty cool.

Got my first duty assignment told to me yesterday. Yakota AFB, Japan! I am totally psyched. So far doing pretty well in classes, working on Binaries, Hexadecimals, and Decimals. So far totally understanding the concepts. I hate memorizing DISACs though, friggin 310-70-1 and all his cousins! But good stuff!

Ya, my room is a 3 person room, but the MTLs only want 2 of us having to stay in one room at a time, so all good.

And Jokka, ya you can wear contacts.

And thanks for the input about Honor Grad on the BTZ packet. I need to get some info on the requirements and all! Thanks again Teh Barracks!!!
