I know they aren't clothes ....but both magaizines are strongly geared towards male fashion. which of the 2 do you prefer?

I like reading GQ, there are some good articles. There isn't much about fashion, more of a general men's life magazine.

Great article about Tarantino in the current edition.

I get GQ, but only because it was free. Not too much worthwhile in it imo.

I find GQ to be fairly informative. Although if half of the fashion they do show for men is quite mainstream they do cover classic suits well and I always tend look there for ideas on their shirt & tie combo sections (for some good matches).

    GQ

    Details is pretty borderline homosexual.

I ordered both through some special promotion and Details isn't worth renewing.

But it depends, GQ if you're straight, Details is pretty solidly gay-oriented.

GQ is fun to read, only about 20% gay. Their editors were gay back in the hey day of the 70s/80s.

However, in every single fucking article, the author inserts themselves into the story. Shit, about 25%-40% of the story ends up being about the author, be it about coal mining, the arctic oil fields, politics in Wasilla, etc. etc.

I really like GQ. Bought Details once or twice but thought it pretty bland. One long advertisement with some third rate journalism.

I also like Esquire, which is practically interchangable with GQ.
