My work is looking to implement GPS for our delivery drivers and I had a few questions. What are some good systems that could allow our delivery drivers to have gps routes plotted in their vehicles and also allow our DME director to see where his drivers are.

    Thanks!

    They make systems for tracking.

I use streets & trips 2002/4 whenever I go somewhere... great stuff! But it's meant for single users, and doesn't let a "master" track people.

I believe that Motorola makes a digital radio system for that. It does the actual "walkie-talkie" type radio transmissions but it also does gps tracking and when people use the radio it tells you who is talking. It also doesn't sound like ass. It's pretty damn expensive and you'd have to buy a shitload of hardware and software for it. Also creating digital radio towers around the city would suck.
