the hopelessness of it. being torn from new beginning and mundane love.

old friend, old parents and constant uglyness of life.

I don't remember last time I cried, but doing it in front of my parents out of nowhere is so fucking embarrasing.

seasonal depression never been elevated to this level. Never felt so full and real. Yet during this breakdown, I need to find clarity, or I'll fall apart.

Don't worry about it. I've been feeling the same way. The last time I cried before a week or so ago was at my father's memorial almost ten years ago and I've been bawling my eyes out all the time uncontrollably. I'll be sitting at my computer and burst into tears for no reason.

I decided to have my mid-life crisis while I was young, so I could enjoy it. Got the motorcycle, re-joined sports leagues I used to do but stopped for some stupid reason, started taking yearly wild/stupid vacations to places just for the hell of it........it's been fun. I'm glad I did it now while I'm still young enough to make it count and healthy enough to compete.

I bought a red 80's sport car for my quarter life crisis, went to a bunch more parties and broke down one night on the phone with my mom when things seem like they could not get any worse. I found what helped the most was great friends and family.

eesh, I really don't wanna get that back. I'm really feeling better today.

That sounds fun in a way

I do have good family and good friends. Me snapping like crazy at them doesn't help the bond. FUU

I hope you managed to reduce the amounts of medicine you've been taking, you should take a path in your life that leads towards mental stability. Just having long walks thru forests, or across the ocean to get all your thoughts in line, and doing some constructive things to give your life value as wel as meaning. Hang in there bro.

That's the thing tho'. I don't really take any medicine other than Vitamins.
My path in life is a steep as a wall. Both, IT and moviemaking.
See that's the problem. I'm living better than i've ever lived. I make more monies and in the middle of my most ambitious project. Thought of suicide never crossed my mind since I have so much shit on my plate. It's just nothing can keep me happy right now. Not the things that usually do. Oh and this snappiness at friends and family and random broads (actually that's enjoyable) doesn't help.
I think being single right now doesn't help either.

I hear you on the seasonal. If it was not for my parents I would leave Minnesota in a heart beat. This year with the divorce and the long bitterly cold winter its really got me too. Even the anti-depressants I am on are not working but I could not imagine what it would be like if I was off them.

Just try to focus ahead and not behind. You can only change the present and the future. I know generic advice but that and a hand full of Vicoden can get you through.

I used to take some downers some time ago, but they curbed my creativity. I'd rather be depressed than uninspired.

The -15 F mornings are not pleasant :(

The problem is that i can't change the present, too much.

 did I say I did? I never felt bad about it. I felt bad about cockblocking my friend, cause he had a chance with her friend. That's all.

Right with you on this one... 23, a little bit more than a year out of college, starting to lose touch with friends, nagging feeling that everyone is doing better than you, everyone in my family is in a relationship and has a SO... makes me really :hs:
