(kinda boring, but I had in mind doing some announcement type stuff up in the top)

She was a good baby once she was fed and all boobed out. This is our friends baby, so it was kinda laid back and an easy shoot for the most part. I'm sure some babies are more difficult.

Anyway, I've really got nothin in the way of props and newborn stuff, so I made do with this box and some blankets. I like shooting the noobs tho. So I'm gonna have to figure out some of those crafty props/hats/etc stuff I've seen used before.

I'd also prefer to use window light for this stuff, but we don't have a lot of good light coming in our house, so I had to use the AB400.

Thanks guys. We know about 6 couples expecting, not including ours (due 4/28). Soo.. Hopefully I'll have a few more opportunities to work on this and get better. I need some backdrops and props for sure.

I like #1, and I usually find babies to be ugly, good job!
