windows OS runs really smoothly/efficiently, the touch screen is VERY responsive, sound quality on ringers is good, all in all i like it ALOT and would recomend it to anyone looking for a sleek small smartphone

my thing is, what apps should i DL for it to make it even better

also games for when i take a dump would be great

Cliffs: What apps/games should I DL and from where to make my dumps more enjoyable

How is the text messaging on this? The on screen keyboard looks incredibly small.

you can set it to a full keyboard but you have to use the pen for it. the XT9 keyboard is really good though i can text with one hand pretty fast. However if you send a ton of txt messages a day its probably not the best

These are my must have apps. None of them overlap eachother and none of them are intrusive or boggy. They work well together and really make the Touch feel like more of a phone.

    • POINTUI - It replaces the UI and makes the crap WM6 interface touch navigational
    • TCPMP
      • flashvideobundle
    • Opera
    • PocketCM Keyboard
    • Palm threaded sms (google "shogunmark_threaded_SMS.cab")
    • Google maps
    • DASHWIRE!!!!

HA. wtf :ugh: It uninstals easily. Its an app, it doesn't write to the rom.
If that's what you'r afraid of you shouldn't even have a wm6 device.

That's like not wanting to pop popcorn in a microwave becasue you think it'll NEVER stop popping.

Have you even read anything about uninstalling pointui?!? It is a known fact that it is a PITA to uninstall. They even have write ups about it on the pointui forums.

Oh and i installed pointui on my htc phone and quickly uninstalled it, i did not like it at all.

edit: i didnt actually uninstall it quickly because it was a PITA so i just hard reset my phone.

xda-developers.com is a good place too...

Google Maps is a must. Also Kevtris is a really good freeware game.

I guess I jumped the gun on saying you camn uninstall it easily. They are working on it though. It is badass however and havent had to uninstall it yet. i like it and am using the test 5 version released in the forums on PointUI. It's awsome on the Touch compared to the basic WM6 GUI. I like it becasue WM^ REALLY want made for touchscreen only and pointui makes it easy to navigate with a fat finger, easily and smoothly (lotsa a ram) on the touch, imo.
