You never post here, don't read the stickies and can't do a search. I've already given you my recommendation.

Maybe ill throw in some upright barbell rows. Plate raises are similar to front and sides.. Or maybe ill switch them out. Thanks for the suggestions

When i use proper form, I feel like the forward plate raises give me a better workout than dumbells. I still do lateral dumbell lifts.

    try this excercise

Lying on your back hold a dumbell above your head with 2 arms, extend it backwards until your arms are straight above your body, then raise it back up.... kind of like you are laying down making the "A" in the YMCA song.

I don't know why any of you are doing front raises.

in for real answer. i do a similar routine to yours, boston and my shoulders are crap. i have no delts

    edit;

my routine if i can remember correctly:

    3 sets of side raises
3 sets of overhead DB press
3 sets of front shrugs (smith)
3 sets of 'rear' shrugs (smith)
3 sets of rear flys (basically stand facing cable x-over machine, grabing opposite handles and pulling)

because your front delts get plenty of work through pressing movements... and besides most completely neglect all rear delt work.

Right and the same thing is said about biceps with back movements, but I still do direct work on my bi's.

My shoulder day is on Thursday and the rest of my pressing movements are on Monday, with a rest day on Wednesday.

For my scenario, I have no second thoughts about doing front raises.

I don't see anything wrong with it... plenty of ifbb pros do them :dunno: I've stopped doing them though to really focus my energy and efforts into my rear delts.

Me personally, I would hate doing that workout. Way too boring, but maybe it's all you need. Shoulder day is my favorite workout day so maybe I do more than someone else should, but I hit my shoulders real good.

    Last shoulder day I did:
    3x10 standing military press
    2x10/2x5 snatch
    3x5 hang cleans
3x10 standing front / seated side / seated rear delt raises (giant set)
3xfailure behind / front / 3x10 cable upright row (giant set)
2xfailure burnout machine military press (facing back of machine)

Shoulders were on fire and I was loving every minute of it.

You really don't understand what we are getting that. MOst people have WAY overdeveloped front delts as opposed to anything else. Why would you add to that? Do you really think that after heavy chest presses and heavy shoulder presses your front delts need MORE work? Think about it. Unless you have an equal amount of pulling, rear delt work, theres no way in shit your back is going to catch up.
