I guess I'll never know. But the Compresson is fine and the bike rides good, Plus the clutch and brake pads are the same ones that came with the bike new and it's never been down. So now it's my turn to beat on it:naughty:

How are Icon helmets? I have an Icon jacket, but had to get it from the US. I've never seen Icon stuff being sold here locally.
What sort of jacket is that?

    BTW, WTF Buell?

Seems like they have a bit more wind noise when my KBC. But I think they are nice seem to flow the air well around it.

The jacket is made my FieldSheer. It's a mesh jacket with padding in the shoulders, elbos, and back. It's nice I like it. I would love to ride with my leather jacket but it's to hot in FL, and I would melt. But when moving this jacket does let the air in and keeps you cool. If I ever do have a crash at least I have some protection then not wearing anything at all.

I got the buell a few months ago. I have not ridden in 8 years and wanted to get on something small and esay to ride. Plus my wife wanted to learn to ride so I got the buell. I figured I would drop it a few times and then can step up to a real bike. Anyway it's a ok bike at least better then a scooter (in the sence you can shift gears) around town but above 65mph it's a little sketchy.:noes: My wife hates it to and wants me to sell it and get her a Ducati or she will take mine and I get a new 999. What a pain in the ass:o

she wants to move straight from a Blast to a Ducati? :hsugh:

het her on an older 600 or something that will be cheap to fix when she drops it.

I guess you can consider her not a cheap date:hsugh:

For example she came home yesterday I was busy on a con call with my office in NYC and she get's geared up and tells me she will be back in less then a hour. Then I hear her pulling away on the ducati.

Me when she comes back Hay way are you riding the duc ride the buell.
Her The buell sucks and it shakes to much and gives my hands blisters.
Me Well I just got it I rather you not ride it until I have it for a little while
Her Sell the buell buy me a Ducati like this, It rides nice and I can handle it (and the she begins to tell me how good she looks on it riding it)
    Me :wtc:
Her ok go buy a new one for your self and give me this one

Me still wondering if I should go buy a new 999 and up my life insurce policy on my wife.:coolugh:

ok, maybe not something cheap, but not a Ducati. I mean, they're far too nice of bikes for beginners to ride.

Why not? She takes care of her things and rides carefully. That what she wants, which is understandable because I like them too.

Get your wife an SV, or a Ninja 650R.

Im sure she would really like the SV. ITs WAY cheaper then a Ducati, and WAY more reliable (remember this is a women, and a mechanicle device, you want the most durable thing possible), and the aftermarket on the SV is HUGE should she ever feel she needs more performance. But be carful though...a nicely moded SV will be faster then your Duc.

I've got a HJC helmet, which fits well, but I'm not too sure about the helmet, due to the fact it's a HJC. I've liked the Icon helmets, but we don't get Icon stuff here :hsugh:
I've also got an Icon Tarmac textile jacket, which I'll get rid of, since I'd look a bit stupid with that jacket on since I'm not riding a sports bike :o
So lately I've been looking for new gear.

BTW, get your wife a 620 Monster :run:

LOL ya I'm sure a modded SV will be faster then my Duc. That's a thought but she wants a covered bike.

That's what I'm pushing for the 695 but no she wants a sport bike. I got two Icons for 69.00 per helmet
www.Ironpony.com I'm sure they will send it out international

I even were my jacket when riding the buell I don't car what I look like. Road rocks and other shit hitting me sucks and if I go down I have some protection.

Ducati is coming out with some new bike, so the 999 and 749 are getting cut at the dealers new.

The new bike that replaces the 999 will have 160hp:)
