    the fuck?

who gives a shit what they were taken on? That's not even remotely relevant. Nor should you ever think that you have any right to tell anyone else what they should or should not post. :nono:

as opposed to.. a canadian thing? :p Is there really a difference?

Honestly, I think that's the best part of the pics. EVERYONE is recording the concert, including the person who took the shot that we're looking at...

    It's nuts....

The LCD screens in every shot made me

The noise is pretty bad but you still captured a few frames that will always remind you of that show.

    oh, and Hayley is :yum:

What'd you use for noise reduction? Or anything at all?

I also giggled at everyone having their cameras up. Kinda like going to some tourist trap (vegas) and seeing everyone walking around with their DSLRs taking the same tourist photos at the same tourist spots. Makes me kind of laugh, but then again, I know that they don't give a shit what I think and just want to capture some family memories for the scrapbook.

If you haven't noticed, everyone thinks everything needs to be on youtube.. they all hope they are the one that got the footage of her falling or her boob popping out.. some stupid shit like that.

it is really annoying when you are just trying to see a band play, all of the screens whether they be iphones, blackberrys, flips, etc

people are dumb sheep, i have come to expect this when going to shows, even small shows at small venues. :wtc:

NN will help out SOME but not that much....

what do you guys expect from a P&S at a concert? Just to think, the s90 has the best iso performance for a P&S, imagine what other camera's images would look like ;)

    Damn good point...

To the OP, the one thing I'd also look at using is Aperture Priority mode. Shooting at the shots, they were shot at 1/249, which is great if you want to freeze the action, but if she's just singing you could easily drop the shutter speed to somewhere around 1/60th of a shutter speed (hopefully this makes sense) and then in turn drop ISO down to 800 and get much much cleaner shots. If you used Aperture Priority, you could open up the lens and use the widest aperture possible (just focusing on the lead singer or one object) and get a lot more light in. I'm jealous, do want S90.
