remember my allen the alien piece from Invincible #45? well, i decided to have it professionally framed at a local shop and i got it today!

    here's the whole sha-bang
    [IMG]

    closer pic
    [IMG]

i also picked up a big frame (36x24) for my giant size astonishing x-men poster
    [IMG]

these frames are nice, and i paid like $25 for it, so i'm definately going to do a few more of these :bigthumb:

i also bought a ready-made frame and stuck my terry moore sketch of katchoo in it
    [IMG]

    close-up

and since there's a comic shop right by me that's closing down (sucks) they had a bunch of shit for 50% off...picked up this powergirl bust for $20! it's about 4.5 inches tall, but it's cool
    [IMG]

and because i wanted some more pictures for this thread, i snapped a pic of half of my gi-normous walk-in closet...which is dedicated to comic storage :o
    [IMG]

my hardcover collection that is in desperate need of a bookcase and some bookends...otherwise, it resides on the floor :hs:

And my Emma bust says hello :naughty:

If they could do anyone as a separate spinoff series from Invincible it'd be Allen.

I know what you mean about the AH emma :o

I like the classier Astonishing look of my emma.

Is that the Bowen Designs Black Widow? I was just looking at their site earlier.

:noes: Think Nolan will get killed? Kirkman has never been known to be afraid of killing off some characters.

But yes I can't wait for the new issues to finally get out... :hsd:

if nolan is going to die, he'll die defending the planet or his wife or mark.

a hero's death...even though he was a degenerate for most of his life.

I plan on getting some commissions and art when I go to the Seattle Emerald City Comicon.

    The choices! :noes:

    http://www.emeraldcitycomicon.com/guests.php

I'll definitely get some shit signed by BMB, Brubaker and Kirkman

As for art, I'm gonna try to get some from Humberto Ramos (I'm partial to his X-Men work :o), Clayton Crain, Finch, Chris G, and Tim Sale if I have a lot of money at the time :wiggle:

    :eek3: awesome! :bigthumb:

i liked a lot of those batman black and white statues...but i think i had the last one in existence on hold at my comic shop at my old town. it was the Mignola black and white batman, and the guy was selling it for $60. his shop caught fire in the back where he has storing it for me and was destroyed.

    now they're $250+ one eBay :(
