I am not sure of the details, got it through a friend who is a real estate agent and acquired a foreclosed property to list

He said there's a huge box in the garage that I can't budge, I'll pay you to come move it out so I can list the house...I go check it out, it's a maverick series, he paid me $200 to move it out

Wow, that's awesome! I wonder what happened to the people who owned stuff in it.... ? I mean no one goes off and leaves a safe.

You gotta update us with what's in it!

Most all big safes like that weigh more than advertised. They do it so they can save on shipping costs for the consumer. Most freight companies will c harge you based on the weight of your package, but they wont weigh your package to make sure the advertised weight is the actual weight, so depending on the safe, they can shave anywhere from 1-400 lbs off the actual weight.

When my old boss bought his american security safe, it was advertised as 1300 lbs, but the actual weight is more like 1500-1600. I helped him move it into his house, along with 4 other guys, and it was a fucking beast.
