I cant wait, traded my protec ballhead for it and some cash. :) Didnt need the ballhead, but wouldnt mind the sync capabilities of the d70s. :)

I cant wait to sync at 1/500-1/1000 with a x3200 lol Talk about turning day into night... Im excited...

Weird that im this excited for getting an old dated body though. I just have so many possibilities running through my head with it. Obstacles i wasnt able to overcome before are now shattered, (without teh use of ND filters), and no more ghosting for fast movement.

this camera almost made me buy a nikon setup

I bought the d70S in brand new condition and almost picked up the 18-70 AF-S but then realized I minus whale go with the 1D classic since I have a full collection of canon lenses. Also the 1D would probably be better for strobed sports with the better AF system

I still have the d70s though, its up for sale now
The camera was amazing in terms of functionality, seemed better thought out then my Canon bodies. It allowed popup flash commander, manual flash...etc

Fast sync speed is soo cool to play with, my 1D classic does 1/2500 wired and 1/500 with my yongnuo triggers. Also at 1/32 power, my 580EX's can keep up to 8FPS for 20 frames :)

I know locally (Vancouver, BC) i can around 300CAD cause it is brand new condition with only 7500 clicks

If you want it Brent, I'd do $250 CAD net to me, shipped from Vancouver
I have box and everything, when u open it, it has the same feel as unboxing a brand new camera
