First off refer to my original DACP thread
    http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=1081664&highlight=dacp

I did this process on all top surfaces - Trunk - Hood - Rood.

Clay - Orange cutting pad with DACP - White polishing pad with Swirl Remover 2.0 - Grey finish pad with Poorboys EX sealant /w carnuba.

The sides of the car didn't get the clay or the first DACP step.

I'm gonna link the pics since they are rather large. 56K beware.

I wasn't impressed with the autopia brand clay - way to soft. My fingers would work through it in a few strokes and I wasn't pressing hard.

all in all the porter cable got better results in 10 minutes than I did with 3 hand passes with the DACP.

I had yet to do the interior so I didn't want to bring it in the sun to get hot

Looks like you are making progress! After you go through the pads you got with the buffer, try the Meguiars Soft Buff polishing and finishing pads.

Except for the few places where the paint is trying to crack/spiderweb the clear appears to still be going strong after all this abuse.

The paint is alot clearer and very deep after the PC treatment - but you can still see and feel the etched waterspots -

You think it would be wise to step up to something a little more abrasive?

I have some 3M fine cuts II compound - I don't know how that compares to #82

You may have defects only wetsanding and a rotary will touch. Try the 3M stuff, but that is about as aggressive as you can get without a rotary.
