So, I saw the buddy of mine that was selling his sks. russian, tula armory, 1953. Bore is IMMACULATE, all numbers match. it's got a little blemish on the side, but nothing I can't live with.

Crappy pics, but it's all i've got right now.

    Your friend is a retard.
    But good buy nonetheless.
Hope you have fun with it.

Didnt they cease production of the SKS in '55 since after the ak-47 made its debut on tv while trying to stop a riot, there was no more use to keep the AK a secret?

Did you at least buy your friend dinner and give him flowers first?

Given the current price of 7.62 the 1200 rounds alone are worth at least $150.

Cool. Does it have a refinish stamp on it anywhere (square with a diagonal line through it)? If it doesn't, it's a collector's item

Its a collectors item around here either way. They try to sell them for $400 at the gun shows here usually. And thats if you can find one, in any condition.

Do they have armory stamps on the stocks like other rifles like the Garand?
